Thankful Thursday #80

I can hardly believe that this is my 80th thankful Thursday list.  I was first inspired by a friend’s thankful list on Facebook and now it’s a regular practice in my life.  I hope you will feel free to join the fun and create your own lists as well.

This week I am thankful for:

So far this spring I have seen plenty of deer, a raccoon, a moose, a bald eagle or two, more frogs than I will ever be able to count and yesterday a bear ran across the road right in front of our car.  We live in a magical place and it’s always exciting to see these animals out and about.

My Kid’s Friends

I adore the camaraderie my kiddos have with their pals.  It’s so nice to know that they have good buddies to hang out with and be adventurous with. I also appreciate that most of my kid’s friends come with pretty fantastic parents that I get to be friends with too.

Oh sweet delicious red jewel of fruit.  Strawberries have be come my go to snack and a breakfast smoothie staple.  I also love how my chickens go crazy over the strawberry tops I save for them.  It’s like they know this is a temporary food as well.  Nom Nom Nom.

I don’t know why I didn’t do this sooner.  We’ve each had our own water bottle for a couple of weeks now and I am loving it!  There are waaay less cups and glasses all over my house (and yard if I’m going to be totally honest).  Me getting drinks for little people has been pretty much eliminated. And having my own water bottle helps me keep track of how much water I’ve had in a day.

Well mine in particular.  I vent a fair amount about the shenanigans my little fournado performs around here, but I do have to admit she’s a pretty fantastic kid.  While we were at the zoo this week she made sure each goat and sheep got a brushing at the petting zoo.  Loving on all the cute fuzziness.

Hot Chocolate and Marshmallows

Craig and Hudson are training for Foamfest coming up in a couple of weeks.  I have bowed out of the competition because I am NOT one of those pregnant women who run obstacle courses and such.  I am more the stay at home and make hot chocolate kind of pregnant woman.  And that’s just what Delaney and I did while the athletes were out running.

Now it’s your turn!  Leave me a comment and tell me what you’re thankful for this week!

I’m thankful for the teeny tiny reconnections we were able to have this week!

Okay, so this post was awhile back but I’m still thankful. At the point this was written, I was thankful to be getting to see you!
